Simpsons do Alaska.
Yesterday, I learned that The Simpsons Movie is, in part, about Alaska. Interesting. I haven't seen the movie so I cannot comment on it here, but I wonder what the folks in Nome (and other parts of Alaska) think about this.

Actually, they love it up there; as soon as they crossed the territory limits, the guy in the "toll booth/gate" immediately said, "here, here's a thousand dollars". Hell, they managed to survive the avalanche.
It was only out of conscience (the desire to save Springfield from annhialation from President Schwartannager's regime) that they chose to return to Springfield, IL/MA/MO/OH/et al.
